GAEL SYSTEMS takes part in the VH-RODA exhibition, an event organized by the European Space Agency – ESA’s Centre for Earth Observation, ESRIN, in Frascati, Italy.
A great opportunity for our colleagues Frédéric Pidancier and Benoit Pironnet to take part in discussions and share knowledge on the latest technologies in the field, in particular, EO data quality.
We discussed many interesting topics, including :
– Calibration techniques (calibration site, reference data)
– Analysis-ready Data, Digital Elevation Models
– Quality control tools
– Artificial intelligence to detect anomalies in Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 images
GAEL Systems has been developing software solutions in the space sector for more than 30 years, helping space agencies and companies to benefit from satellite data, in particular with a quality control tool called AMALFI.
Another important event for the Copernicus programme also took place during the workshop. The Sentinel-1C Earth observation satellite was successfully launched on Dec 5th. Congratulations to ESA ! We are ready to develop applications to help end users make better decisions based on Earth Observation data.
We look forward to seeing you next year at the VH-RODA 2025!
